Award-Winning Enterprise Architecture with Lexmark
Webcast with Lexmark & ins-pi
We’ve teamed up with Lexmark to present you a 4-part webinar series, where they will share their Enterprise Architecture journey on ServiceNow using ins-pi solutions.
Even though the 4 sessions will give you a holistic view of how Lexmark approaches Digital Transformation, they are not interconnected and you can watch them in any order you want.
Lexmark's Digital Transformation Initiative
In the first session, we will welcome Carol Young, Lead Data Architect from Lexmark, as she kicks off the series that will describe Lexmark's Digital Transformation initiative leveraging ServiceNow and ins-pi.
Learn how Lexmark is using an Enterprise Digital Twin (EDT) to create and link solution, system and process architecture supporting their internal and customers' Digital Transformation initiatives.
Join Lexmark Senior Enterprise Architect Mark DeBeaumont, who will talk about system architecture and design, cloud architecture and how all of these interconnect in an Enterprise Architect’s daily life.
He will go into details about:
- key elements in ‘high-level’ solution architecture,
- determining which areas of the solution architecture needs additional levels of detail,
- managing quality of relationships between diagrams.
Modeling for Optra IoT
In our third session of the Lexmark webinar series, Ted Perkovich, Process Architect at Lexmark, will talk about the IoT side of Enterprise Architecture. More specifically, about Optra IoT and how they use it at Lexmark.
Ted will share what kind of models they are using and how crucial it is to keep your Enterprise Architecture up to date.
As a bonus, Ted will also show how Lexmark is using FREELUCY internally as a vehicle for establishing architectural relationships.
Establishing a well-structured and up-to-date process architecture across an enterprise is challenging. The overwhelming number of tools available and lack of standards can yield a chaotic environment with less than expected results.
In the final session of the Lexmark webinar series, Lexmark’s Enterprise Digital Twin Practice Lead Kevin Playforth will show you how Lexmark is using ins-pi Designer and UPM-X to instantiate a corporate-wide process architecture called Enterprise Digital Twin (EDT).
This session will cover how ins-pi solutions are used to create a process framework that encapsulates high-level value stream definitions down to user-level keystroke actions inside of standard work instructions.
